Esther Kim

Creative Writing Director

Esther Kim is a Korean-American writer from Potomac, Maryland. Her writing has been recognized by the Library of Congress, the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the New York Times, the Poetry Society of the UK, and more. Her poetry also appears or is forthcoming in Lunch Ticket, Polyphony Lit, and SOFTBLOW. Interested in introducing learning opportunities for students, she leads one of the only Duke of Edinburgh International Awards Programs on the East Coast. A high school junior, she dabbles in songwriting and can often be found in coffee shops or on long walks.
