Spoken Word Submissions

We are currently closed to submissions. Stay tuned for our next submissions period!

The Incandescent Review is looking for work that expresses honest opinions and emotional responses to timely and relevant personal or world issues. Accepted spoken word videos will be featured on our website and social media. You are eligible for submission if you are between the ages of 13 and 24.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

​

  • Submit as either a YouTube link or a link that can be uploaded to Youtube (1-5 minutes in length).

  • Submission may feature the speaker or a thematic picture coupled with audio.

  • Must be an original piece written by the performer; presentation of other works will only be eligible when in the context of a competition.

  • Include a short statement on the intention and inspiration behind your work.

  • Upon acceptance, we will be in touch with you via email.
