Emily is a northeastern Massachusetts resident currently in her junior year of high school. She is an aspiring novelist who enjoys engaging in all forms of art. Her work, a short story titled “Assassin,” was published for the first time in Menacing Hedge in the fall of 2019, and she has won several Scholastic Gold and Silver Keys for both her art and writing. Her strongest form of inspiration is to reflect issues she observes in society in an abstract way through any and all of the art forms, particularly science fiction writing. In her spare time, Emily takes on the role of a book addict, poi dancer, and tiramisu enthusiast.
