Ariel Kim

Founder & Chief Executive Director '21

Ariel Kim is an eighteen-year-old storyteller & a rising Yale University freshman. She creates bildungsromane through both art & writing, exploring vulnerability, loss, and growth. Ariel’s work appears or is forthcoming in The Hecksher Museum of Art, The National Poetry Quarterly, The Adroit Journal, and National Scholastic, among others. She founded The Incandescent Review, a magazine dedicated to illuminating youth voices, in her junior year of high school, hoping to empower youth to express their unapologetic identities as heirs to an uncertain world.
